Voices! Open House (grades 4-12)

Who is this for? 4th grade to 12th grade (no exceptions) - All levels/experience welcome. 

Auditions for solos, if any, will happen during the course of the semester.  

Our show choir, Voices!, is a fun, community minded ensemble. We are an inclusive group where young vocalists learn, prepare, and perform several pieces of music throughout the season. Each student learns choir essentials through ensemble performance instruction, private/solo opportunities, sectional work, and intro to harmony singing.  Most importantly we will all have a ton of fun while working really hard towards a series of performances, theme park visits, community events, and volunteer opportunities at senior homes/hospitals/etc. Music will include selections from pop, country, Disney, musical theater, Christmas and more. All pieces are performed to a professionally produced music track.  Our dress rehearsal and spring concert are scheduled for December 16/17 in the evening. There are two mandatory Wednesday evening rehearsals on December 4 and 11. The aforementioned Wednesday night rehearsals, dress rehearsal, and concert require MANDATORY attendance. Please don't register for the ensemble if you are not willing to make your child available for those 4 dates.  

Class begins September 4. Full refund on or before August 1. No refunds after August 1. Rehearsals will generally end at approximately 7:45 where the last 15 are reserved for working with soloists or small ensembles. There will be NO CLASS on: September 11, October 30, November 6, or November 27.
