Open Door seating helps make our performances accessible to families in our program who may benefit from additional support.
The Who
Open Door seating is available to HMAA families with a performer in the production. There are no financial requirements—if this program would support your family, we invite you to apply.
The Why
We believe in Community Care, and strive to create a space where everyone belongs.
The How
Through generous donations, we were able to adopt two seats at our host theater, Theatreworks Live. This not only served to lift up our HMAA family, but Theatreworks as well.

The Rest
Now for the boring stuff:

We understand that need can look different for every family, so there is nothing you need to explain or provide in order to apply.

Applications cannot be submitted for a production before tickets for that production are released.

Recipients will be selected at random 7 days before the first performance. Applications will be accepted until 8 days prior.

Selected families will receive two tickets to the production for which they applied.

Tickets are valid for one performance. Show selection will be offered in the order recipients are drawn, based on availability.

If you are unable to use your tickets, please let us know so another family may be selected.

Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred, or used for a different performance or production.
