Who is this for? A 1-week camp for rising 1st graders to 6th graders. All levels are welcome. All registered students are guaranteed a spot in the production. All registered students will audition. Several audition dates will be available over the spring and summer. When is this camp? Camp runs for 5 total days. June 29 - July 3. We will meet everyday from 9AM to 4:00PM. Before and after care is available for up to one hour before/after at $10/hour. The hours for July 3rd are slightly different. Students are not needed until 11am but may be dropped off as early as 9am (or 8am with paid before-care). Please do not sign up for the camp if you are not willing to or aren't available for the evening performance on the July 3rd. Where is this camp? For the first 4 days of the camp we will meet at Emmanuel Episcopal Church in downtown Bel Air, MD. On day 5, we will meet at the Warehouse Theater in Edgewood, MD. We will perform the show twice on Friday July 3rd. Show tickets will be available to purchase sometime in May. When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie, and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin KIDS, a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love. Specific to Disney’s Aladdin KIDS are the Djinn, a group of unique stage magicians who execute the magical moments of the show. Casting many Djinn to create the Genie's magic allows you to involve more young performers. Disney's Aladdin Kids The Musical features a large ensemble cast with many featured roles. Whether your students are singers, actors, dancers or triple threats, everyone has an opportunity to shine in this high-energy show! Campers will pack a non-perishable, peanut free lunch, several snacks, and lots of water for each day of camp. Harford Music and Arts has an absolutely zero tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior between students, parents, instructors, and directors. Students or parents exhibiting these behaviors will be immediately dismissed from the production with no refund. Please always be kind! For Before-and-After Care is available for up to one hour before the start of camp and one after after the end of camp each day. Information on how to sign up for Before and After care will be sent out in the coming weeks.
