**Please read the entire class description** A magical 7 week journey through the world of music. We will visit amazing places likes Mexico (Coco), Caribbean (Little Mermaid), Native America (Pocahontas), Scotland (Brave), and South America (Encanto). Each week we will examine new instruments and sounds from around the world while sampling songs from each of the Disney films set in those regions. Each class ends with a Disney sing-along and sharing time with our virtual friends. All of the classes will be recorded and available through a private cloud sharing link (recordings will only be available through the duration of the class). So no worries if you have to miss a week. Each class will last between 30 and 40 minutes. Here is a week by week syllabus of our class. Week 1 - Instrument Families (Strings/Woodwinds) Week 2 - Instrument Families (Brass/Percussion/Electronic) Week 3 - Coco - Mexican Instruments and Sounds Week 4 - Little Mermaid - Caribbean Instruments and Sounds Week 5 - Native America - American Indian Instruments and Sounds Week 6 - Encanto - Colombian/South American Instruments and Sounds Week 7 - Brave - Scottish Instruments and Sounds Each class includes optional printable worksheets you can do at home! Sign up for Session 2! We will visit 5 brand new places, beginning in February 2026. Class begins February 4. Note that all times are EST.
