This musical is for grades 4-12. All experience levels welcome. Limited to the first 27 registrations. This production rehearses most Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning on November 4. TABLE READ WILL BE MONDAY, NOVEMBER 3. Extra rehearsals may be added based on cast availability. Tuesday rehearsals will be for select called cast each week, from 6:45 - 8:30pm. Thursday rehearsals will be all cast, 6:00-8:30pm. Show week is December 15-21 and attendance is mandatory. Rehearsals during the week of the show are Tuesday (evening, time TDB) and Wednesday (evening, time TBD). Dress rehearsal is December 18th and show days are December 19th-21st. We will perform one show on Friday (at 7pm), two shows on Saturday (at 2pm and 6pm) and two shows on Sunday (at 2pm and 6pm). All roles and parts will be by audition. There will be several audition dates/times throughout the summer/fall. Please do not commit to this class if you are not willing to attend every rehearsal the week of the show - These rehearsals are mandatory! Rehearsals begin on November 3rd. Full refund if you withdraw on or before October 1st. No refunds after October 1st. There will be no rehearsal on November 27 (Thanksgiving). Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
