The Art of Faking: Comedy and Combat

Service Description

Falls, fights, and funny moments take center stage in this action-packed theater camp! Campers will learn the basics of safe stage combat and physical comedy through fake slaps, dramatic reactions, safe falls, choreographed “sword” fights with pool noodles, slapstick humor, and over-the-top action scenes. This high-energy camp builds confidence, teamwork, timing, and storytelling skills — all while having a blast creating theatrical chaos safely and creatively. Before-and-After Care is available $10 per hour, per child. We will be available one hour before camp starts (8AM) and one hour after (5PM). Complete the form at the bottom of the Day Camps page, and you will receive an invoice. Invoices must be paid before the start of camp. Children should bring a non-perishable bagged lunch, two snacks, and a water bottle. Harford Music and Arts has an absolutely zero tolerance policy for disrespectful behavior between students, parents, instructors, and directors. Students or parents exhibiting these behaviors will be immediately dismissed from the production with no refund. Please always be kind! Payment plans available!
