Service Description

This musical is for grades 8-12, NO EXCEPTIONS AT ALL. Limited to the first 21 registrations. Rehearsals: Most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00–8:30 PM, beginning January 12. Some Wednesdays may be added as needed. Rehearsals will be limited during January, with specific dates and times to be announced. Full rehearsals will begin in February. Not all cast members will be called for every rehearsal. Show week is March 30-April 4, and attendance is mandatory. Tuesday and Wednesday, March 30 and 31, will be extended rehearsals, 6-9pm. Dress rehearsal is Thursday, April 1st (3:30 or as early as you can get there until 9 or 10pm). Show days are April 2nd-4th. We will perform one show on Friday (at 7pm), two shows on Saturday (at 2:30pm and 7pm), and one show on Sunday (at 2:30pm). Please do not commit to this production if you are not willing to attend every rehearsal the week of the show - These rehearsals are mandatory! As the half-blood son of a Greek god, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can’t control, a destiny he doesn’t want, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus”s master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect, he has to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on his quest, Percy will have to do more than catch the thief. He must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle of the Oracle, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who abandoned him. All roles and parts will be by audition. There will be several audition dates/times throughout the winter. Full refund before November 30th. No refunds on or after December 1st.
